Vintage Navajo Rug, Unusual Navajo Three Panel Serrated Lightning Design Rug, ca 1930 - 40

Completely woven in natural dark brown, white and carded browns with contrasting aniline red commercial dyed yarns in both the serrated lightning designs.

The weaving exhibits some very unique tapestry woven bands of "stacked" blocks complemented with undulating bands of contrasting colours to create this great visual graphics of this runner rug.
