This large antique Tibetan copper and brass man’s Gau Box was used as a necklace or over the shoulder to keep important items safe.
The Gau Box was hung with the four loops acting as place for the necklace to be strung and further ornaments could have hung from the lower bracket which acts as a form of dorje ornament.
