The Teec Nos Pos rugs grew out of the nearby J.B.Moore Crystal Trading Post at the turn of the 20th Century.
This highly complex design pool offers the epitome of both unique stylized geometric patterns along with pictorial feathered arrows and eight pointed stars.
There are numerous little refinements with lightning, serpentine lines within interlocking crosses and diamonds bursting within stars. the borders are also an outstanding combination of intricately outlines elements, all of which exemplify a masters weavers' imagination and skill.
The wools are homespun with both natural and aniline dyed yarn.
The rug is in excellent condition, has a provenance and has been published in an exhibition catalogue of note.
