Antique N.W. Persian Serapi Design - Custom Order

This elegant Serapi design with a bold, neutral design and outstanding colour palette was hand-drawn and coloured by myself in the 1990's and woven under the guidance of my dear friend and his weavers.

Being a lifelong carpet and rug collector, indeed I inherited the passion and knowledge directly from my father and grandfather, allowed me to share a wealth of design and technical knowledge. My friend and I met on a trip to Pakistan when I worked and invested in a small boutique rug production in N.W. Pakistan.

I never received those rugs, but I did meet my friend, we are exactly the same age, and we continue making rugs and carpets of distinction to this day. We spare no cost and cut no corners. We use no bleach and chemicals and make bespoke creations we are very proud of. Not only is the pile woven from wools from the famed plains of Gazni but the foundation is as well.... no cotton. The result is a plush, velvety touch to the rugs and colours that glisten like rare gemstones.
